There are a variety of applications for Botox ® including removing fine lines and wrinkles and treating more severe conditions such as TMJ or chronic migraines. This is a non-surgical procedure which uses a special protein to block overactive nerve impulses, which restrict muscle contractions. This helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles by relaxing the muscles beneath the skin. Botox® is a temporary treatment appropriate for patients between age 18 and 65. The results can last from 1 to 6 months.
For minor teeth straightening, we provide M.T.M. by Dentsply, which uses a series of clear retainers to straighten teeth. This treatment provides patients with an alternative to traditional metal braces and is usually completed within a 2 or 3 month period.
